One Wild Night Can Change Everything

Valerie Wilder doesn’t do serious relationships. She also doesn’t usually wake up in Vegas next to a male stripper…

A male stripper who happens to be her new husband.

A quickie divorce seems like the answer, but the Nevada legal system doesn’t think so. When her new husband suggests flying back to Chicago with Valerie she accepts, wondering if one night in Vegas could turn into something much more.

Review: One Wild Night by Magan Vernon is the first novel I've read from Ms. Vernon. The beginning of story really drew me in because of Vernon's cheeky and free flowing writing style. Valerie Wilder is a fun, yet straight laced character who I found easy to like and relate to, but when it came to Wild Wes his character fell flat. As much as I wanted to like the book's main love interest I just couldn't. For me, he didn't have much of a personality other than being super relaxed.

One thing I would like to point out is Ms. Vernon does a great job really giving readers enough detail to get into the story and enough background that the story doesn't seem as short as it is. Overall, I enjoyed Vernon's writing style and the concept of One Wild Night, but I'm not quite sure if I'll be picking up part 2 of this serial.
