Synopsis: Brynne Bennett is living the good life. An American art student at the University of London and part-time photographic model, she’s putting her life back on track with school and lots of hard work. When ultra successful London businessman, Ethan Blackstone, buys her nude portrait, he isn’t taking ‘no’ for an answer. He wants Brynne in his bed and makes plans to keep her there no matter what. His dominant nature captivates and ensnares despite the demons she carries inside her. But there are secrets in this relationship. Huge ones. Can Ethan free Brynne from the past that has marked her? Will Brynne let him or will the specters tormenting her resurface to destroy them both…
Review: Naked by Raine Miller is a fantastic story filled with plenty of drama and erotic romance.  I quickly found myself pulled into Brynne’s world and her and Ethan’s steamy relationship.  I really enjoyed the premise of this story because although it’s clear that Brynne and Ethan both battle their own demons, there’s an even bigger issue at hand. Don’t skip over the prologue because there is some vital information that really helps you understand the peak of the story. I really loved Ethan, he was blunt and straightforward, but it really made him such a sexy male character. I love the Brynne is not your typical wimpy female protagonist. Yes, she falls for Ethan, but she’s not unrealistic. She encourages them and asks Ethan for them to take their relationship slow, despite their explosive chemistry. It’s hard not to compare Naked with Fifty Shades of Grey and although I loved FSOG, I found myself liking Brynne way more than Ana. She’s much more independent and levelheaded. Naked is definitely a shorter story than I expected, but I was so engulfed with the story that I feel that even if it had been longer, it still would’ve been to short. While Ethan is controlling and dominant much like Mr. Grey, he doesn’t come off as slightly insane or unrealistic. I loved his genuine confidence. Overall, I would highly recommend this story if you’re looking for another great contemporary erotica.
