Warrior's Redemption by Melissa Mayhue TOUR

Synopsis: Haunted by the death of the woman he married to become laird of Clam MacGahan, Malcolm MacDowylt can only see himself as a failed warrior.  But neither his Viking heritage nor his claim to have descended from Norse gods can restore his confidence in his ability to protect his people.  His sister is being held captive, and his magically powerful half-brother wants him dead.  The last thing he needs is more responsibility or more family trouble—but that is exactly what he gets when his Faerie mother-in-law arrives, seeking justice for her daughter in the form of an enticing young woman who claims to be from the future.

Danielle Dearmon has waited fifteen years to discover the life she is supposed to live.  She just never dreamed she would end up in the thirteenth century with a handsome Scot bent on saving everyone but himself.

With the lives of those most dear to him hanging in the balance, Malcolm sets out to battle a powerful evil magic, only to learn that the redemption he seeks exists in the arms of the woman he loves.

Review: Warriors Redemption by Melissa Mayhue is an enticing and entertaining read. She quickly reminded me of why I love time traveling & Highlander romances. I enjoyed reading this story in particular because of the inner conflict going on with Malcolm. I like complicated characters with complicated lives and he is one of them. I also thought that the addition of Norse and fairies within the story was interesting and fun. This is the first book that I've read by Mayhue and I'm excited that this is actually a spinoff of her other series Daughters of Glen. My only complaint would be, I wish the heat (sex scenes) would've been turned up a little more. I highly recommend this to readers who've enjoyed other series like the highlander series by Karen Marie Moning.
